Artists and Engineers!

During morning meeting, we read a book about manners at school (and everywhere really!).  We made A LOT of connections between what we were reading and what do in our classroom each day.  What a bunch of polite rock stars we have!

Friends enjoyed some peaceful painting this morning.

Sloane and Charlotte work together to create lovely spaces for our puppies and bunnies.

Our new friend Lyla enjoys working with the animal families today during free choice.  Welcome, Lyla!  We are so glad you're here with us!

Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!  Friends work on creating an INCREDIBLE marble run today.  It took a lot of patience, communication, collaboration, and engineering to make this masterpiece!  

Ms. Kacie helps a crew to finish up this awesome (and somewhat tricky!) puzzle.  Success!  Look at all those proud faces!

A Terrific Tuesday!

 

Our First Day as Discoverers!

Ethan found great hiding spots for his gems within the castle walls this morning.  So sneaky!  

"Who wants some sweet tea?!?!?!"

Our attendance manager, Rory, counts how many friends are here during morning meeting.  Today we had 12 friends join us!

Today during our read aloud, we read The Caring Me I Want to Be!.  This was a lovely way to spark a conversation and to set the tone for our kind, empathetic, and mindful classroom culture. 

What a great first sign-in for everyone!  We will keep working on this throughout the school year...stay tuned!
