Addy Adventures Continued

"Today Lily and Addy enjoyed a lot of time outside. They read a book together. Addy threw the balls in the bin of water, then counted how many were in there... she had 52! We used the Jenga game blocks to build houses and each took turns being the judge or builder. The girls waited patiently by the road because they heard the ice cream truck... after about an hour, he came into our neighborhood and they enjoyed their treats on the deck!"

What a wonderful day, Addy!  Next time, I'll wait for the ice cream truck with you so I can enjoy those treats too :)

Another Addy Adventure!

"Addy worked on some scissor practice this morning.... we made our own. She noticed after she cut the pattern, they looked like glasses!

We watched Ms. Katie’s video and then the girls made their own treasure maps. Addy’s brought us to check out preschool from afar!

Addy was able to have her zoom gymnastics class outside!"

Letter X Word List and Daily Reflection

"For Emily's daily reflection, she said 'Mommy opening the Mother's Day present I made for her was exciting!'

We came up with as many 'x' and 'ex' words as we could. We also decided to try to think of words ending in 'x'. Not bad!"

Not bad at all!  Great work, Emily!  How could I have missed EXPLORE?!?!?!  That's one of our favorite things to do at preschool!

The Adventures of Eamonn Continue!

"Eamonn has been busy!  He’s loving puzzles still (though missing his puzzle buddies Graham and Cal!).  We hiked to mid station at Timberline at Bolton Valley on Sat.  He loves to hike and led us up most of the way!  We saw lots of wildlife and plants, caught garter snakes and saw a toad “hibernating”!  Today Eamonn traced his “W's for this week’s letter, played a number matching game and a color by numbers printout (thanks for the idea Katie!)."
