Emily's Busy Day

"Today, besides the daily reflection and a word list, Emily watched a Mo Willems Lunchdoodle with her brother. They made some great monsters following Mo's guidance! Here are pics of all Em's creations today!"

Way to stay busy today, Emily!  We hope to see you tomorrow at our virtual morning meeting!

Letter S Word Lists and Daily Reflections!

Drew, Callen and Graham show of their SUPER SKILLS with those letter S word lists.  Wow!  Nice work, Friends!

These super silly daily reflections make me SMILE :)

Just like Addy, Drew also works on some alphabet work today.

Sensory Hide and Seek and Letter S Word List

"Today we made an alphabet sensory bin, where we hid the letters and Addy had to find them then put them in alphabetical order. We also had an Easter egg hunt. Each egg had an upper case and lowercase letter on it. The girls had to find the eggs then match the letters to its match. Tic Tac Toe board in our living room and the Letter S word list."

Whoa!  You sure have been busy on this rainy day, Addy!  Nice alphabet work and that word list is SUPER!

Something Silly Daily Reflection

Mira shares her baby brother, Jameson, sticking out his tongue.  That is definitely something silly, Mira!

R is for Reading and Rainbows!

Charlie!  Your rainbow is SPECTACULAR!

Ernest wins with the double R...Recycled Rainbow!  Way to go, Buddy (and that haricut...LOVE it!)

"Emily using www.starfall.com . It is a website with free online activities for kids Pre-K through 3rd. She likes using the Pre-K/kindergarten learn to read section. Her favorite activity is the one where you can fill in the beginning and ending letters of words (they give you choices and you drag it)."

Way to keep learning while we are away from school, Em!

Favorite Room Daily Reflection

Check out these favorite rooms...they sure look cozy!

FaceTiming Friends!

Graham and Eamonn have a chance to connect with each other via FaceTime.  These young friendships are so important...especially during a time of such unrest.  Thank you, Preschool families for staying connected with one another and for riding this out with us...we love you!

Small Acts of Kindness Go A Long Way!

"Today we made homemade puffy paint and used it on our driveway. We also made a bouquet of flowers for their Grandma and PopPop! They live near us, so we were able to walk to their house and deliver them (we left them on the porch)."

It is so inspiring to see all of these beautiful acts of kindness pop up all around our community.  Nice job spreading some springtime cheer today, Addy!  I'm sure Grandma and PopPop LOVED it!

Friends staying busy!

Nice scooter moves, Cal!  We miss you!

"Letter R sound circle. Addy took the picture and the lead on this. Rainbow beads, red wooden bead, rainbow rabbit, Rapunzel’s hair with a ribbon on the end, raisins, raspberries, and a red apple.
Today we made a small fire and had s’mores. Addy's face lit up when she realized she could have a s’more before dinner!"

Addy, Addy, Addy...you lucky girl!

"Here are a few photos of Mira staying busy! I have included a picture of her word list for the letter R, her reading along with you to The Snowy Day, and her and Jameson with some homemade play dough that we made after watching Miss Amy and Kearstin make some!

We are enjoying all of the videos and posts! Thanks for taking time to make and share these things! They are definitely helping us to feel connected!"

Mira, I love seeing you enjoy our videos and all the hard work that you're doing at home! Keep up the great work!

"It was a busy day of train building, memory playing, building snowmen and drawing race cars."

Wow! You and Reese sure stayed busy, Drew!  That train track and snow friends that you built are super cool!

Wednesday Wonders

Who's ready for some springtime weather?!?!?!  Cam and Sawyer are!  Today they are helping to plant their garden at home.  I think we are all ready for some warmth, sunshine and renewed energy!  Sawyer, keep us updated on your garden as things begin to grow!

Drew, the master organizer, sorts his cars to stay busy.  Wow! Something tells me that these aren't even all of them.  Drew...exactly how many cars do you have?  Perhaps a challenge that you'd be willing to partake in :)

Nora is staying busy by crafting the day away.  Look at that focus!  Nora, we can't wait to see what you make in your home maker's space!
