Writing Practice with Word Strips

We use our sound circle labels for some writing practice this afternoon.  Such amazing work!

Today we used our writing strips with the skyline, plane line, grass line, and worm line to label each item.  What a great way to model writing techniques and enhance that early literacy awareness!

Bubbles!

We discover that the water looks blue in the clear cup because it is, in fact, blue water.  It only appears to be green in the yellow cup because blue + yellow = GREEN!  In the red cup, it looks purple because, yup you guessed it!  Red + blue = PURPLE!
