Squirmy Worms, Wood Chip Tracks and Dinosaur Digs

V is for Volcano!  Crosby creates a fantastic volcano during morning free choice.  After that, he becomes an archeologist and digs up dinosaur bones!

Marion enjoys our new "Peaceful Spot." <3

Marion is busy making tracks all over our woodchip area...talk about hard work!

Look at this fierce group of worm finders!  Everyone used such wonderful teamwork to lift logs and search for those squiggly little guys.

Our letter V read aloud today.  Stay tuned for our letter V sound circle...we can't wait!

The Letter V

Tea for Two!  Thanks for the donations, Dwyer and Mom :)

Finally!  We get to bring some of our indoor materials outside to enjoy on our playground.  Has spring finally sprung?!?!?!

Today we began our work with the letter V.  Don't worry, we added the word Volcano to this list AFTER I took the photo.  How could we possibly forget Volcano???

Wrapping Up the Week

U is for Unique!

Connor and Mae work on drawing Sunny Starscout during morning free choice.  Such great teamwork!

Our letter U sound circle separated by short and long U sounds.
Except for Ursela...she's a tricky one!

Mira and her animal sanctuary...how lovely!

Someone wants to know what King Cobras look like so we put our resident research assistant on the job.  Thanks, Crosby...we can always count on your expertise!

Practicing our middle names.

Mae is quite an artist these days.  She is adding more and more details to her artwork and it's amazing!

The mud kitchen is up and running and open for business!
