During morning meeting, we read a book called What Do You Do With An Idea? This story really made us think about how important our ideas are and how just ONE idea can change the world <3
We continue our work with families with this daily reflection question.
I visited a toy store this last weekend and came across these adorable squishy little narwhals and of course I just had to have them for our classroom. We discovered that they stick to the mirrors and we thought that was the neatest thing!
On to book #4! Last week we talked about hieroglyphs...this week, the jolly roger flag and PIRATES! Yikes!
To begin our "Bucket Filling" unit, we start by reading one of our favorite books, How Full is Your Bucket? Over the next couple of weeks, we will tie this idea of filling people's invisible buckets with kind words and actions that make them feel calm, happy, peaceful and safe with all of the other community building strategies we've introduced.
Today's daily reflection question: "What filled your bucket today?"
